Finance Assistant

Yarrells School and Nursery is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Finance Assistant to join our school’s administrative team. The successful candidate will support the Finance Manager in managing the school’s financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly reporting and Early Years funding. This role provides scope for achieving relevant qualifications and is open to applications from apprentices.

You will have a positive attitude, an ability to work on your own and as part of a team, and a willingness to be an active part of a busy prep school environment.

Strong communication, ICT and literacy skills are a must.

Start Date: 17 March 2025
Contract: permanent, all year round
Hours: part time, guideline 25-30 hours per week with flexibility
Salary: £15,873-£20,000 per annum (FTE: £25,397-£32,000 per annum) dependent on experience
