Nursery Manager

Are you an established Nursery Manager or an aspiring Deputy looking for your next role? Are you somebody looking for a new adventure and a chance to evolve and develop a successful all-year-round Prep School Nursery? 

Yarrells Preparatory School and Nursery is looking for a Nursery Manager to lead our fantastic team. The Nursery is well established and in need of an experienced practitioner with some managerial experience to take us forward in this journey. Nestled in the heart of Upton, Poole, Yarrells Nursery is set up in its own purpose-built building within the idyllic woodlands of Yarrells School and has access to the school's beautiful grounds and facilities.

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Nursery Practitioner

Yarrells School are recruiting for Nursery Practitioners to join our team now! We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed Practitioners, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support across the EYFS. The successful candidate will work with children aged 2-4 years, establishing good relationships, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs.

This role will require an imaginative and resourceful individual who is capable of finding ways to engage and spark the interests of our young people.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, for full time hours, depending on experience

Kitchen Assistant

Yarrells School is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our small and dedicated team. The successful applicant will have good relevant experience and be a flexible, reliable and committed team member.

We require someone to work the following hours, but would ideally like to find someone who has flexibility and availability to work additional hours, providing cover and extra support where needed.

Hours
Tuesday: 12pm to 2pm
Wednesday: 12pm to 2pm
Thursday: 12pm to 2pm

The contract is term time only, but has scope for holiday work too. The job description includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Assisting the Catering Manager with general duties
  • Preparing salad for the pupil and staff lunches
  • Serving lunch to pupils as required in a friendly and caring manner
  • Keeping an eye on pupils during lunch
  • Cleaning the tables and sweeping the floor in the dining room
  • Washing up all cups, plates and all equipment that has been used during the day
  • Putting away any wet washing up
  • Taking down dry washing and putting away
  • Preparing for match teas when these are scheduled
  • Preparing tea trolleys for social events
  • When asked by the Catering Manager, to help and attend social events as required

Salary: £12.21 per hour
