Nursery Options

More Hours & Wraparound Care:
  - Early morning and after-school care extended for all Nursery children.
  - Wraparound care available from 07:30 to 18:00 each day.
  
All Year-Round Provision:
  - New 50-week option for full-year care, in addition to the term-time programme.

Term Time Plus Flexibility:
  - Add extra weeks of Nursery care during school holidays (subject to availability).
  - Designed to provide families with greater peace of mind and flexibility.

Nursery Admissions & Key Information

Ages: Welcoming children from 2 years old.
Flexible Sessions: Full-time or part-time options available.
Minimum Sessions: Typically, three-day sessions for all children. For 2-year-olds, fewer sessions may be considered at the Nursery Manager’s discretion.
Transition to Reception: Recommended increase to five mornings in the term before moving to Reception.
Settling-In Process: Individualised support to ensure children feel confident in their new environment.

Nursery Life at Greenwood

Nutkins Class: A joyful introduction to Nursery life from age 2.

Squirrels Class:  From Age 3 - offering a smooth transition into the school at Reception.

Child-Initiated Play: Encourages exploration and curiosity through a wide range of activities.
Outdoor Learning: Free-flow access to large outdoor spaces, including a woodland environment.
Specialist Sessions: Weekly sessions in dance, French, music, swimming, sport, and Forest School.Immersive Learning: Children enjoy a variety of themed activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
